An Unexpected Revisit
to the hospital waiting room Theater of the Mind.
In a recent random conversation with a friend, she began describing someone, and I knew right away who it was. Remember the loving husband of a woman in dementia who entertained an entire waiting room for an hour? I wrote about them a few months ago.
He lives in the same assisted living facility as my friend.
His vivacious wife has passed on. No doubt she is entertaining crowds who wait …
… for their beloved mates to join them in glory.
It was a complete surprise, and I thought you might like to know.
We must number our days.
